October 2022, London Craft Week; ‘Mother quilt and other objects.’​ 

​Alongside a second collection, the studio presented a large hand printed textile work. The piece, made from naturally dyed cotton, explored the theme 'mother.’ 

We began the project with one hundred workbooks. The workbooks were an invitation for individuals to explore the theme 'mother', the memory, feeling and experience of being mothered. The completed workbooks served as the material from which we composed a series of symbols which were printed onto cloth using our signature rice paper stencil technique and assembled finally into a large textile work; a quilt.
